A prominent Atlanta antiques appraiser, who police say was beaten by her husband nearly two weeks ago, died Friday, Feb. 1, 1985 at Northside Hospital.

Jane Young Foshee, 46, of 401 The North Chase N.E., had been listed in critical condition since the night of Jan. 20, when Fulton County police found her lying in a pool of blood in the kitchen of her fashionable Sandy Springs condominium.

Her husband, William David Foshee, 49, of the same address, was charged with aggravated assault.
